No slackers here!

Slacking? Who's slacking? I'm not slacking. I'm sitting in Mom's room right now, typing on Mom's fancy shmancy iMac with it's huge glorious screen and really awesome keyboard (we settled all the talk of Mom's wanting a laptop by bringing her iMac from home).

Mom and I have been finishing up the changes to Mom's quilt book, Emergence. If you haven't seen it or purchased one ($20) you should check it out! She's very pleased with the changes she's made and is excited to get the next batch printed. If we can get the wireless internet stabilized, I'll see about adding the book as a movie for our viewers to see.

Mom talks a lot these days. She's become a very intense and passionate communicator. If she has you on her contact list, she'll likely call you. The conversation will go something like this:

you: "Hello?"
Mom: "OK, so here's where I am today..... (5 minutes of passionate, full speed ahead dialogue about life, god, love and art with no breaks and some Charlie Brown style distortion from her headless earpiece)"

you: "Well, isn't that nice," you'd say while thinking to yourself, 'Holy Cow, she's got a lot on her mind!" OK, maybe that's my thought.
