Mom's writing in her journal again. She color codes, circles and boxes sections of her writing. We kid her that we'll never figure it all out, then she explains every decision in full detail. In the past she's written much about scripture, god, love and the meaning of life. Now she writes about her modifications to her business, INKLINGS Interpretations in Fabric. We've changed her filing to a 501-3(c) non-profit and will be working on the tax-exempt status soon. She's ultra excited about the notion of having a self-sustaining ministry from the sale of her books and a corresponding art show to travel the world.
I wonder who'll run it all? Mom we hope!
Mom tells a story of people asking her friends, "How's MaryAnn?" Friends say, "She's great! Very positive and full of life." They then respond, "How is she really?"
Mom is really jazzed and full of energy. No doubt about that. She's lost most of her hair but is completely fine with it. She keeps Dad busy. "I'd like this." "I think we should do this." "You know what would be a good idea?" These are commonplace. Dad is a saint. He's so patient and giving and helping mom through her journey. For the life of me, I don't know how many trips he makes for tape, pencils or any specific items on mom's brain. He's in good spirits. He laughs loudly at times.
If you'd like a first person account, give Mom a call and stop in and see her!

I'll be there Monday. What joy it is to have all of you keeping us up on Maryann. She is my guiding light. Michele
