We Have Been Slacking........ I know

So,  what is going on in Mom world?  I am going to list everything out today as I am in “work-mode” right now J

 

1.        Mom is still enjoying blaring her hula music from Brenda.  She plays it really loud!!!!

2.       I have finally convinced Mom to put a TV in her room.  I am really hoping it can help her turn OFF her brain for a bit.  How did I convince her?

a.       American Idol

b.      Winter Olympics

3.        Mom journaling is out of control!!!  She must write like 10 pages a day… thus the need imho of a TV

4.       I am going shopping for some REAL CLOTHES for Mom today.  Thank goodness.  I am sooooooo sick of seeing her in hospital gowns

5.       The flowers from Brenda are still looking lovely.  Just a beautiful reminder of her and her visit.

6.       Mom and Haven had a great visit the other night.  They wrote poems together.  The poems came out awesome.  They were also drawing pictures to go with their poems. 

7.        How is Mom health wise?  I don’t know much.  I haven’t met with the hospice nurse this week.  I am going to try and give her a call tonight.

8.       Mom is excited about forming her non profit agency.  She is going to move to completely non profit for her books and her art shows.  It is very exciting for her and she is looking forward to being able to give her art away to those who can not afford it.

 

I am going in to see Mom in a few hours.  I will give a better update then.  Love to you all!!!
