Mom on voice mail

Hello Mom fans. I heard a message on my answering machine last night. It was Mom. She called and said she loved us and that she really appreciates my updating the blog (NUDGE NUDGE!). I must admit, I feel guilty for not making time to provide more updates to you all. (this is where I'd normally insert my laundry list of excuses, but I'll spare you all)

Mom had an appt. with her beloved oncologist, Dr. Grainger on Friday. I didn't ask if she saw Gail and discussed the Browns. Since Mom didn't mention it, I'll bet it was a no. I'll see if I can clarify that. (grand scheme it's not important, but with all the turmoil going on up in Berea with mom's (still?) favorite football team and the fact she love's Gail's energy, it's important). Her appt. went well, from what I gathered. Julie also went on the appt. and had some questions about some treatment and other things. It's good to know Mom's being taken care of by such great people!

She wanted to extend her gratitude and love for all her friends at St. Paul's. Each time we talk, the first words out of her mouth are about all the loving people in her life. She loves the visitors and all the stories people tell. "Tell people to keep coming to see me!" she instructed in the message. She sounded good. Much better than yesterday (she was tired and didn't sleep well from a sore shoulder).
