How about some quality book reviews?

Hello Mom fans. For those of you who know Mom well, you know how she loves books. "Especially now," Mom says from her comfortable rocking chair. "I have a lot of time to read."

Well, Mom decided to start offering some book reviews for her fans (my word, not hers. She'd probably correct me and say "friends and family, not fans" but for the sake of typing, we'll leave it short and sweet. Fans it is.)

The books:
Emma brought two children's books for Mom to read. They were Chasing RedBird and Feathers. (Emma must have been in a bird state of mind when she picked them from her school library).

The other two books are Golfing with God and Eternal Echos.

Dad's complaining about Westerville Library calling to get their book back. He's worried about Mom's publishing her book choices online for all eyes to see. I try to sooth his anxiety by telling him the library usually doesn't have a special task force for nabbing books before their due date. (call me crazy.)

Mom isn't feeling too well today. She had to do something she hates to do -- turn friends away -- earlier in the day. She hasn't eaten well but she's still in good spirits. (Dad's sitting next to me as I type this. He's telling me that good spirit is a whiskey and that I need the 's' on the end. He's quite the editor. Now he's realized I'm typing about him so I better stop or I'll loose my free editor). Anyhow, back to mom.

Mom has been very active the past 3 days. She's done a good deal of walking and working with her occupational therapist. She walked 100 feet on Monday, outside with a cane (I almost spelled it cain and dad starting laughing... he's a loser -- not really but I'm just saying...).

Mom wants to clean her office. We tell her not to worry about it. Dad says, "In due time."
