We asked nurse Carrie if we could conveniently arrange for Mom to be moved to the top of the parking garage for tomorrow's fireworks. We told her we could cause a distraction then hijack mom like in the movies. Carrie laughed and played along, even suggesting "We could cover you with a sheet and slide you out that way!"
Mom didn't like that suggestion. Something about a toe-tag didn't seem appetizing.
So, it doesn't look like Mom will get a chance to see the fireworks tomorrow. She'll still be in the hospital through the weekend.
Dr. Granger says they're most concerned about the acute areas -- lungs and clot. Once we're through those hurdles, we'll begin to discuss a discharge.
Jen and Dad have been home working on the house to get it ready. Faith must be going out of her mind wanting someone to bark at!

I loved the "big nose" photo...at first, I wondered if the swelling in MaryAnn's arm had extended to her face!
