Mom's daughter Julie is here giving mom a message on her left arm. The swelling can get pretty bad. They're talking about their visit with Dr. Granger, a terrific oncologist who really cares for his patients and respects his patient's wishes. We're all thankful of the care Mom is getting.
"I'm really thankful for being here," Mom tell Julie. Jule's is leaving for Jamaica for a couple days but is having difficulty with the decision. "I have no anxiety while I'm here. I know that whatever happens, I'll be well taken care of," Mom adds.
Julie is almost finished with the message. Dad will be here soon. He's been working at home to re-work the bedrooms so mom can come home to a room on the main floor. Stairs just aren't in the picture anymore. "Installing and elevator would take to long," Mom says.
Do you notice how I sometimes capitalize Mom and sometimes I don't? That's my way of annoying all you copyeditors.
Mom just Skyped her grandaughter Haven. She really enjoyed seeing her. She misses doing puzzles, reading books, coloring and fishing with the girls. She's excited to work on a new quilt with her grandson Aaron for a spring show.
