Family Visits

Well, we had an amazing weekend.  The Shirey family from Cleveland came down.  Jim, Steph and their three boys Kevin, Danny, and Eric.  We haven’t seen them since I was pregnant with Haven 10 years ago!  It was like no time had passed.  They visited with Mom first.  Mom was so touched that each of the boys sat down and asked her advise on things going on in their lives.  She was overwhelmed with their sincere interest in her opinion and her insight.  After their visit with Mom, they all came over for dinner at my house and we had a great time.  I TRIED to make coffee (um epic fail) for their late nite drive and we said our goodbyes until next week when I will be driving Uncle Bruce up to visit Aunt Audrey.

 

Yesterday, Mom was first visted by the Dennis family.  Our good friends from Buckeye Gymnastics.  Deetra and Mom have built a nice friendship over the years.  Mom was able to see their new baby Mya.  Next, she was visited by Alan’s clan.  She said she just loves her Filipino Family.  Steve and Daph and all the kids came.  Mom was finally able to give Daph her quilt, “All the End of the Earth”.  Steve is going to make a wonderful donation to Mom’s favorite charity in celebration of the gift.    Eden and Ate Baby and Portia were there as well.  She loved seeing all of them.

 

Many visitors.  She was very very tired afterwards, but felt oh so blessed.  We love you all.
