Mom's words...

Well, my outlook is brighter. Yesterday I went up to the studio and cut some fabric, stood and ironed some things and sewed at the machine. I also sat before the sunlamp for 5 minutes. And I came down. NO easy feat, coming down!

Jackie, my aide, helped me shower and washed my hair. I even put on make-up!

Hand-sewed a piece for the exhibit and have another ready to do today.

Tomorrow Rick is taking me to see Dr. Grainger where, one day, the doctor will say there is no vestige of disease left. Not a grasping after, just an opening to receive.

I realize that my crabbiness last week was to bring a part of myself to the surface so I can love it into acceptance. Integration. Like the 2 snakes on the caduseus.

So it is after 10 and Jim is making breakfast and I am hungry. We have controlled the nausea or else it was a virus and is now gone. Whatever, I am grateful.

I love you all. Be happy!
