Weekend recap - in Mom's words

Friday was a super-wonderful day with a visit from Carolyn. Carolyn cut her hair and it looks great! I have really missed seeing her in person. She checked me out and I felt uplifted as always.

THen Father Charlie visited and before he left, he anointed me. The sacraments effect what they signify--I learned that in Sacramental Theology in college and have always remembered it. That's why one reason why I so love the Eucharist. He is such a good man.

On Saturday I felt renewed and restored, I said "I'm going to relax in bed all day and I don't have to be sick to do it!" Big shift for me. Taking charge. Releasing responsibiity for others. And I did. Watched shallow tv all day. Felt wonderful.

Sunday I began working on a new art piece in a new way. Dad went to Noah's ALL-Star game and I sat in the window working for 3 hours. Sun raises spirits so.
