A messy hair day

Marge, Mary and Becky came to visit Mom today. They had communion together. "It was wonderful," Mom says.

She's very, very tired. She has a tummy ache and has some pain. "And weepy," Mom says. "It was the dance last night. Every time I try and tell someone about it, I can't. I just cry," and she almost does. She's referring to the breast cancer tribute that took place on So You Think You Can Dance dance last night. I haven't seen it yet. We're about to watch it on Youtube, as soon as it finishes loading.

I look around the room. There are many books and lots and lots of art pieces. It really does look like an art gallery. Mom's sitting in her chair. She's wearing a light blue shaw and her hair is a bit on the messy side. "They said I'd feel the effects of all the radiation appointments sometime after completion. I think this may be it," she says with her eyes closed. Dad's sitting behind her, gently rubbing her shoulders and back.
