Curveball

Hi folks. Mom's not doing well. We've been told things will likely progress quickly now. Mom's been given additional medications to help her to be at peace. She's surrounded by love and still has Marshmallow Mayonnaise (her pet swan) at her side.

She blew me kisses when I left her room last night. I joked and told her she missed and to fire another one. "Here comes a curveball," she said as she fired a couple my way. "Just keep the spitball to yourself," I fired back. She laughed and closed her eyes.

We've not discussed the editorial policy for Mom's updates on the blog, but I know she'd want people to know how she's doing regardless of whether the news was good or bad. Although she's twenty some miles away at the moment, I can hear her say, "Leave out all the bad stuff! I don't want my readership to worry!"
