Well the entire Titus clan is in Cinci for Grandma Titus' funeral. I am sure they are telling great Gertie stories.
Mom wanted Rick or I to stay with her. Haven wound up not competing yesterday so after she stayed to support her teammates while they competed, we checked out of our hotel and headed home so I could spend the day with Mom.
I went to Walmart and spent a pretty penny on pedicure items. I also got her lots of new pens and pencils, pretty paper, and a clipboard to write on. She is always writing. Last nite she wrote a 14 page manifesto of sorts. She also likes to be organized. So I bought her new paper clips, a pencil holder and a file divided for her bedside table. Then she had be organize all of her drawers.
Right now, she is putting on her makeup. Slow and shaky but she is getting the job done. She likes putting on her makeup. She smiles so much into her hand mirror.
So. Pedicure check. Sponge bath check. Makeup check. Regular day at the spa here at Willow Brook Village.

Well, it's taken a while but I found I can make comments. When I was with Maryann on Wednesday, she felt so pretty in her makeup. I can imagine her pleasure with a pedicure and new writing materials. I see a book in the offing. Thank you for keeping us up on Maryann's doings.
Maryann,
We certainly miss you in the quilt store, but keep up with you through your blog....it seems your kids are much like Mamma! I check in every week or so to see how you're doing, it sounds like you're getting really good care and attention just like you've given others all of your life. Rest, heal and know that we are praying for you and your family.
