I'm sitting here with Mom. She wants me to tell everyone that she doesn't remember a word of that blog post a while back. I can tell this is important to her. "Which blog post," I ask. "The one where I said, OK I'm scared... I don't want to miss the party, etc."
"I don't remember a thing about that. I don't remember anything about that week."
Mom's in a great mood. She speaks more slowly then I'm used to and she repeats herself sometimes, but "it's all apart of the reprogramming," Mom says.
(I'm typing on a very small keypad so if there are type-o's please excuse me)
Mom's got a new headpiece for her cel phone. One without radiation. "I've had plenty of that!" she says. Mom's talking with Dad about all the snow and her small church group from St. Paul's. She goes on and on about how wonderful her church is.
Mom's dentist came and filed her tooth. I'm sure you are all thrilled I added that information -- after all, who doesn't love a great tooth filing story? Her dentist is wonderful. "How many dentists would do that?" Mom proudly and warmly states.
To everyone who has sent or delivered flowers THANK YOU! Mom's room looks great.
If people want to call or visit, please call first. Mom's cel # is 448.7339. Let it ring a bit. Mom's slow with her earpiece.
