Mom is on her way today to Willow Brook Christian Village in Delaware today. The one she was at in Worthington no longer has room for her. She does not qualify for Skilled Nursing through Medicare because she is not or cannot “Improve” more. So, we are off to Assisted Living in Delaware. She is ok with the move, but oh how she hates to leave her friends in Worthington.
I will be heading up at 1 or so to assist in the move. We have to pack up her fridge and all her quilts!!! Then we will reassemble in the new room. Heartland is providing Mom with an air mattress. She has a very large bed sore and the air mattress will help a ton. She is very excited about that part!!
Mom is in a good place right now I think. She is almost euphoric. Has new insights and revelations daily. I try to be happy and show enthusiasm while she tells me them, but they scare me really. She is just exuding love and happiness and acceptance of all life.
