Wrote two books for granddaughters. Sydney's is an illustrated book called Marshmallow's Dream and is about a swan who loves ballet.
Emma's is about a girl named Whammy Amme Kazaame and it's called The Voice. It's about a 5th grade girl who hears a voice saying "I love you, I love you" at night in her head over and over and she doesn't know whose voice it is until the last chapter which closes as it opened. The voice is her own.
Haven's I am working on now. It is an interactive diary but in a different form. The diary is the narrator voice. The diary has always listened, no one has ever listened to it. So it tells about its adventures which are entirely made up and Haven has room to comment. It includes fashion designs which she can rate and wedding cakes which she entitles and prices.
I've also completed, except for hanging sleeves, 6 of the 11 new pieces for the March show. Two of the remaining are almost done.
Jennie brought us a deluxe edition of Scrabble. It's on a rotating board and you choose letters out of a bag. I like it a lot. Of course Jennie always wins.
Belinda cleaned out my closet for me and brought a lovely red fluffy scarf she made. I love it!
Dawn came and played with us this afternoon. She brought soup.
Michele is in Hawaii and sent a lovely book of poems and pictures. I wish my sound machine were working so I could hear surf.
The kindergartners continue with their cards and well wishes. I received cookies and a homemade ornament for the tree which isn't up yet and may not be. I love these children and think I will make a door drape for Mrs Grote's room that has all of them on it.
Wish I could tell you about my 2 mile walks and how I took the grandkids to the park, in time. (That's my desire to show I' succeeding, because I HATE to fail and my desire to give you all good news and make you really happy.)
Okay, it is after midnight and I am making lots of typos so I will quit.
I love you all. Thanks for supporting me with this long process and what seems like slow progress.
