Mom has asked me to let everyone know that she's very thankful for the thoughts and prayers and she loves you all. Although she'd love to see "each and everyone of you," she's asked for a hiatus on physical visits. "They can call me if they'd like, but I need to rest and would like a couple days before people come see me," Mom says.

A: Probably not a great idea. Mom's become very sensitive to smells.

A: Dad's ok. He's been taking his super magic sugar reduction pills and watching his food intake. That's a good thing. He'll be getting his membership to the rec center soon and we'll start working out together. I told him I'll have him in lean fighting shape by July! "I just want to be able to see my golf shoes again!" Dad counters.
