Wednesday report

I had a very short phone conversation with Mom this afternoon. She said she was taking it easy today and she took a good nap this morning. She was tired from a busy day on Tuesday with occupational therapy, physical therapy and some great visits. She said her breathing was good and she had good energy and appetite, two very good signs. I told Mom I wanted to watch Sunday's Browns game with her and she was excited about that. She's looking forward to watching "Her boy Hank Poteat" play. He's a soft spoken journeyman cornerback with the Browns and wasn't sure if he'd make the team. Mom always roots for the underdogs.

When I thought the conversation was over, she asked how the girls were doing in school. She and dad found some drawing books for Sydney, my aspiring little artist, and they were excited to deliver them this evening. Dad located the Violin for Emma to use in her strings music class. She beamed when she got it. Dad and I took turns playing it. It was... interesting. Hopefully Emma will be much better than us!
