You've heard of what not to wear, right? Jules and Dad spent the afternoon yesterday moving clothes from upstairs to downstairs, switching Mom and Dad's closet's around. What you will read next are thoughts from Jules about a memorable ordinary moment of the best kind! "It was an awaking experience which allowed me to see my father in a new light! What's interesting is that we are not that different - that's the funny part." We began with dress shirts moving from long sleeve to short with some of the pieces evoking an instant smirk or responce. We fumbled through golf shirts, sweatshirts, suits and belts moving from little chuckles to full smiles and loud laughter. What began as a monotanous task developed into a joyous party-like atmoshphere leaving us wishing that others were there to enjoy. Who doesn't have a couple items in their closet that would make them blush. You would be proud of Dad in that he got ride of MOST of the clothes that he needed too. "Oh... we all have a shirt or two that we would object profusely to giving up that holds "sentimental value"! After moving through the clothes, I discovered that my father secretly loves shoes! "Dad ... how many PAIRS do you have?" Dad replied to me, "I have ___ pairs and a "few more..." without boxes". (This will be a poll question folks!) During my time with Dad I also learned that he has a stock of shampoo as well. With a full head of hair what else would one expect... we should all be so lucky! I must say though... it was one of the best two hours I have spent with my father in a long time. Laughing is good medicine!
