My favorite memory was from my last visit with her on February 17, 2010.  It was Ash Wednesday and she noticed that I had ashes on my forehead. 

Mrs. T:   Aww, you got ashes!  I want ashes!

Me:    I'll bet someone will be around some time later on today with some ashes for you.

Mrs. T:   I've been waiting and waiting for someone to give me ashes.  And I want my ashes to be big and bold like they're screaming out at you! .

A little while later…

Mrs. T:   Where are my ashes?

Me:    I wonder if it'd be ok if I gave you some of mine.

Mrs. T:   Yeah, sure why not?!

So I wet my thumb with water and transferred some of the ashes from my forehead to hers.  WOW!  What a powerful and special moment for me! 

Jen, special thanks to you and Rick for including us, and the rest of Mom Titus' fans, on her journey during her last months  here on Earth.  Although she isn't physically with us, I just know that we will continue to feel her radiating presence in one way or another.   Peace be with you and your family.
